Fitness Journey

This section will be my fitness journey. I will include any modifications that I have to do based on my body limitations. Remember that anything I write about is what works for me. Modify as you need and always talk to your doctor before trying anything.

Today's adventure in fitness was Pilates. Fortunately, I have found that I can manage Pilates as long as I use a reformer. The reformer helps me hold positions, adjust my body as needed, and since it's mostly laying or sitting on the reformer, I don't have to worry about getting weak or passing out from standing.

While these are work outs that I cannot share since I go to a studio to do them, I do suggest doing some research on this style of Pilates as opposed to body weight Pilates to see if it would work for you. I go to Club Pilates, which is a franchise, and they have intro sessions that are free. It's not the cheapest method for working out, so if you're not working and money is an issue (or just getting out of the house is an issues), don't worry. I will be sharing at home routines that can be done with just body weight or light weights.
